WORKSHOP DETAILS

Molly Idle and Kelly Light began their careers, pencils in hand, creating animated cartoons. Through an SCBWI portfolio showcase, their eyes met each other’s work…and recognized something familiar. When they met, there was already a connection. It had a lot to do with character.

In this one day workshop, Molly and Kelly will bring their animation to picture book making experiences to life with presentations and attendee participation! We will focus on character design, acting, cinematic influence and how to breathe life into your drawings. Come ready to draw, exchange ideas and have fun!
