A DYNAMIC and active event that will equip participants with an arsenal of practical take-home tools!
This event is for children's book writers. If you are interested in learning from the senior editor of Calkins Creek Books, an imprint of Boyd's Mill Press, you should come! If you are interested in learning from the senior editor of History and World Cultures of HIGHLIGHTS magazine, you should come! If you have a passion for nonfiction, and want to hear from the SCBWI Golden Kite winner, you should come! If you write fiction and you're curious about applying your skills to nonficiton, you should come! If you are interested in learning about writing for the educational market, you should come! If you would like to hone your craft as a writer, you should come!
In conclusion…YOU SHOULD COME!

**We wish we could offer Nordstrom's refund policy, but alas we are a non-profit organization, and we take a financial risk when planning these sorts of events (placing deposits down for meeting space, meals, flights, etc.) Thank you for understanding our cancellation policy as follows:
- You may receive a full refund on tuition minus a $25.00 administration fee up until friday, March 11, 2016
- You may receive a 50% refund if canceled between March 12 and April 8, 2016
- No refunds are available after April 8, 2016
- No refunds or cancellations are available for the critique option. If you are unable to meet the submission deadline for the critique, you also forfeit the option and the critique fee.
