The first, PEG GETS CRACKIN’, will be out Spring 2024 and the second will be published in Spring 2025. Nanci Turner Steveson’s fourth middle grade novel, MIDNIGHT AT THE SHELTER (HarperCollins/Quill Tree Books), launches November 1, 2022. Kaylan Adair at Candlewick has acquired HILWA’S GIFTS by Safa Suleiman, illustrated by Anait Semirdzhyan. In the story, Ali visits his family in Palestine during the olive harvest and learns about the many gifts that his favorite tree, Hilwa, offers.
