Kaylan Adair at Candlewick has acquired HILWA’S GIFTS by Safa Suleiman, illustrated by Anait Semirdzhyan. In the story, Ali visits his family in Palestine during the olive harvest and learns about the many gifts that his favorite tree, Hilwa, offers. Publication is for Spring 2025.
