New York Times bestselling author of THE MERLIN SAGA, T.A. Barron, has announced a new podcast called Magic & Mountains. Barron and his guests will discuss a vast range of topics suitable for students, from the origins of Merlin to the global fight against climate change. Learn more here.

Jennifer Chambliss Bertman’s middle-grade mystery, SISTERHOOD OF SLEUTHS, is a Kids’ Indie Next List Pick for November/December! The book will be published October 4th by Christy Ottaviano Books/Little, Brown Young Readers with illustrations by Vesper Stamper.

UNEXPECTED RICHES (Aery Scribe Press LLC) by C.S. Boyll launched September 8 with a book birthday bash September 26 at Colorado Springs’ Cottonwood Center for the Arts. More information on the historical adventure novel (YA) may be found on the author’s website here and on Amazon here.

Katy McQuaid received the 2022 New York City Big Book Award, Distinguished Favorite in the Children’s-Motivational category. The award is for EVERYBODY LOVES GRACE: A TRUE STORY OF GRACE’S ADVENTURE TO WASHINGTON, DC, McQuaid’s sixth book in the series.
