Teresa Funke is proud to announce the Spanish edition of her children’s book, V for Victory, the third installment in her Home-Front Heroes World War II series. V de la victoria is perfect for Spanish-speaking children ages 7-13, teachers, and anyone who enjoys reading in Spanish. Amidst the turmoil of COVID-19, “Ruby’s Christmas Gifts”, written by Nancy Oswald and illustrated by Nathaniel Jensen, received a gold designation for the Mom’s Choice Awards.  Published by Filter Press, LLC, October 2019. You can read more about Nancy and her books at her website.


Laura Perdew’s picture book science series on animal adaptations (Nomad Press) released on August 13. The books explore the bizarre, humorous, and oftentimes gross adaptations of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish. For more information, click here.


Laura Resau’s upper middle grade novel, Tree of Dreams (Scholastic, 2019), has been selected as a Skipping Stones Honor Book in the Multicultural/International category. This honor goes to books that “promote an understanding of cultures, cultivate cooperation, and/or encourage a deeper awareness of nature, ecology, and diversity.”


Natasha Wing’s new book in her Night Before series was released June 9. The Night Before Election Day introduces kids to the voting process in hopes of raising a future voter. Contains stickers.
