Cindy Kim at Little Simon has bought world rights to Strut, Baby, Strut, written by Amika Kroll and illustrated by Ebony Glenn. In this board book, girls are encouraged to reach high, dream big, and be proud of who they are. Publication is scheduled for spring 2022.
Jennie MacDonald’s illustrated essay tracing the history of Aladdin, “‘Who Will Change New Lamps for Old Ones?’: Aladdin and His Wonderful Lamp in British and American Children’s Entertainment,” appears in All Things Arabia, an open-access collection published by Brill.
