WILD ZOO TRAIN, by Carmela LaVigna Coyle and illustrated by Steve Gray, won 2018 Foreword INDIES Silver Book Award.

Nancy Bo Flood’s article “War and Refugees – What Should We Tell Our Children” was published in the recent XLIII volume of the Arizona Reading Journal, a publication of the Arizona Reading Association, an affiliate of the International Literacy Association (ILA).


Ellen Javernick’s newest picture book WHAT IF EVERYBODY SAID THAT? illustrated by Colleen Madden and published by Two Lions came out this month. It was one of the books promoted on Amazon’s Prime Day so is off to a great start.


Marilyn Brigham at Amazon/Two Lions has acquired world rights to ROSIE THE DRAGON AND CHARLIE MAKE WAVES, a picture book by Lauren Kerstein, illustrated by Nate Wragg. Chaos ensues at the neighborhood pool as Charlie teaches his pet dragon Rosie how to swim. This book is planned for summer 2019.


Jennie MacDonald’s art photo, “Cat’s Cradle,” is featured in a two-page spread in 3ELEMENTS LITERARY REVIEW, Issue #19 (July 2018), pp. 52-53.


IF POLAR BEARS DISAPPEARED by Lily Williams publishes August 28th, by Roaring Brook Press. This nonfiction picture book uses accessible, charming art to explore what would happen if polar bears disappeared, and how it would affect our world.
