Lindsay Beaudreau, and her book, WHAT A DAY! were featured on 9 News Denver on 4/29. Lindsay’s story is unique because all of her proceeds are donated to a non-profit organization that places AED’s into schools.  WHAT A DAY! is a self-published picture book that was released March 6, 2018.

 

NERD CAMP Kansas, June 4-5th,  Nancy Bo Flood and several other SCBWI authors from Colorado will participate as invited faculty talking with teachers and librarians about STEM + arts & writing activities.  Nancy’s workshops will focus on WATER, and also classroom visits via Skype, plus describing current Native American literature, especially books told “in their own voices.”

 

Traci L Jones, YA Author of Standing Against the Wind, Finding My Place and Silhouetted by the Blue has signed with Patty Carothers at Metamorphosis Literary Agency.

 

Is there more to a race than its finish line? Jenny Mason’s latest books in The Great Race, Fight to the Finish Series from Gareth Stevens Publishing (2018) explore this question through the lens of the nuclear arms race, wacky road races, and the race to outer space.

 

Two poems by Jacqueline Peveto, “The Greenhouse” and “Moving and Paper Planes,” will be published by YARN on May 29.

 

Deborah Holt Williams of Glenwood Springs has signed with agent Naomi Davis of the BookEnds Literary Agency. Deborah writes rhyming picture books.

“A Perfect Match,” Susan Wroble’s article on the search to find the just the right job for her therapy dog, appears in the May/June issue of Muse magazine.

 

Katherine Wood and Sandra Ingerman announce the release of The Hidden Worlds, a novel about four seventh graders in a small Colorado town who solve an environmental crisis with help from their spirit guides. Book Launch Open House, July 27, 1-7pm, at Katherine’s home in Northglenn
