Publisher’s Weekly featured Pack-n-Go Girls by Janelle Diller and Lisa Travis in the BookLife section in the print and online issue of their August issue. 


Janelle Diller’s coming-of-age novel, Never Enough Flamingos, was selected as a 2017 Kansas Notable Book. The Kansas Notable Books List is the annual recognition of 15 outstanding titles either written by Kansans or about a Kansas related topic. The September 9 award ceremony was part of the Kansas Book Festival.


Kristen Foote's debut creative non-fiction picture books, How to Survive as a Firefly and How to Survive as a Shark, were released this month from The Innovation Press. More information including teacher's resources, previews, and where to purchase can be found here


Linda Osmundson, author of the How the West Was Drawn series, was the featured vendor at the September 28th LBDC – BAH Networking Event at the Colorado Feed and Grain in Timnath, CO.


An order has been placed for the 2nd printing of MONDAY IS WASH DAY, a children’s picture book by MaryAnn Sundby. The book was released in September 2016 by Ripple Grove Press.  In addition, MONDAY IS WASH DAY is now being printed in Korean.
