2018 RMC Letters & Lines Fall Conference
After participating in a novel intensive at the 2017 Letters and Lines conference, Megan E. Freeman was invited by the editor to send her full manuscript. After reading it and offering suggestions, the editor suggested some agents. As a direct result of querying those agents, Megan is happy to announce that she has signed with Deborah Warren of East West Literary Agency. Megan is excited to join the Rocky Mountain contingent of East West writers and illustrators, and is so grateful for the support and opportunities provided by RMC-SCBWI and to all the people who make Letters and Lines happen every year. Way to go, Megan!

2015 RMC Letters & Lines Fall Conference
Greg Barrington signed with agent Deborah Warren at East West Literary in November 2015 as an author-illustrator. “Have to wait and see what happens next but I can say (without a doubt) this signing wouldn’t have occurred if I had not attended the Conference–not just because of the submission opportunity but directly because of what I learned from the speakers and panels.”
Author-illustrator, Ruth Harper, also signed with agent Deborah Warren at East West Literary after meeting with her at the Fall Conference. Deborah fell in love with Ruth’s work and contacted her afterwards to represent her!
Author Eileen Ross is the third member to sign with agent Deborah Warren after meeting her at the RMC-SCBWI Fall Conference! She will be shopping Eileen’s middle grade novel. Says Eileen: “My feet have yet to hit the ground. Hurray for SCBWI!”
Illustrator and 2015 Calendar winner Tiemdow “Dow” Phumiruk also signed with Deborah Warren! Dow says “Shortly after signing with Deborah Warren, I received an offer to illustrate Maya Lin: Artist-Architect of Light and Lines by Jeanne Walker Harvey. This will be released by Christy Ottaviano Books (a division of Henry Holt/Macmillan) in the spring of 2017, which is the 35th anniversary of the Vietnam Memorial Wall.”
